Development Workshops
We offer a range of workshops and seminars to improve management potential and skills. Workshops, which can be tailored to meet your needs – they can be from half to a full day. A workshop can include any of the following, Leadership Skills, Managing the Team, Time Management, Conflict & Relationships at work, Strategic Planning, Customer Care, Sales Fundamentals and Improving Team and Individual Performance (This list is not exhaustive)


Team Coaching
The prime focus of this course is the Team's Aspirations. Coaching focuses on probing questions and getting the Team to think together about what they want and how to achieve their objectives. The Coach acts as more of a Facilitator for the team and team coaching will improve performance through developing trust and respect for each other. It will allow everyone to move on from old inflexible beliefs, rivalries and politics. The output will be solid, creative discussion, improved interaction and feedback from all members of the team. These sessions are tailored to meet your needs and would typically be a half or full day and can be delivered on site or at a local conference facility.


Management Coaching
Management probably makes up a significant proportion of your current workforce and we would offer these employees a management development programme carried out over an agreed timescale.

The course concentrates on enabling your managers to contract their roles more effectively, building rapport with their employees, exhibiting leadership from the onset, and coaching their teams and employees productively.

Recruitment Industry Training


Observation Day
Specifically designed when you need that extra support in identifying your consultants training and development needs. One of our dedicated training team will meet with your consultants or team members on or off site, working extensively with them to produce a structured and detailed report on their training and development needs that will be tailored around your agencies business needs and operational constraints.


An Introduction To Recruitment
This two day course is primarily designed for consultants who are new to the recruitment industry and its associated regulations and legislation. The course will also assist consultants in understanding the benefits of using a recruitment consultancy and be able outline these features and benefits to their respective prospects and clients.

As planning and structure is integral in your consultant’s success these are also incorporated within the course, together with how to market candidates effectively.


Client Visit Workshop
As your consultants gain credibility and confidence you will undoubtedly need them to attend client visits without the need for supervision. This one day workshop will assist your consultants to understand the different types of buying styles and also looking at effective negotiation tactics. They will learn and adopt the seven steps to successful sales and how to prepare for these business critical meetings. Once your consultants fully understand the client visit process they will then take part in their role play which is then recorded and presented to your consultants (Min 3 delegates)


Business Development Workshop
Statistics prove that around 40% your clients use you on a single transaction basis only. In order to improve and maintain client retention it’s paramount that structured plans and processes are in place. This one day workshop will assist your consultants and managers in calculating their own and company productivity levels relevant to their business and understand the importance & implication of financial ratios. We will work with your consultants and managers to assist them in conducting a SWOT analysis to identify and prioritise future activity to ensure consistent business development and growth. Sales Presentations
This workshop is focused on the different types and styles of presentations and looks at the process of how to design and deliver an effective client presentation. This covers reviewing the components that make up successful presentations and also reviewing the presenter’s body language, voice mechanics and delivery, which could ultimately influence the outcome of any client decision. Their final presentation is captured and recorded on DVD for future analysis and review.


Closing The Sale
Closing the sale is not an event, it’s a process... Your consultants may have heard this statement before, regarding the fact that closing a sale is actually a process. What your team probably didn’t realise is that they can have a major positive influence at the opening of the sale. There is always a tremendous amount of effort attributed to closing the sale and if more emphasis was placed on opening the customer, the close would then become a natural and expected part of the process by the customer and your team. This one day workshop is designed to allow your team to become more effective and confident in this integral part of the sales cycle.


Competency Based Interviewing
As more and more of your clients utilise bespoke recruitment and selection methods it is paramount that your consultants understand the major differences between biographical and competency based interviews.

A one day workshop designed to allow your consultants to understand how a competency interview works and how it can assist them in developing a structured competency based process and how to question a candidate against an agreed set of competencies. (Min 4 delegates)

A one day workshop designed for your Permanent Consultants who have completed their induction to recruitment or who simply need a refresher in the key elements that make a Permanent Consultant successful. Throughout the day some of the areas that are covered will be ratios, planning, the job cycle, lead generation client and candidate control, block interviews and CV objection handling. This day should enhance your consultants productivity and financial results. (Min 3 delegates)


Sales and Service Excellence Workshop
A one day workshop designed for your Temporary/Service or Industrial Consultants who have completed their induction to recruitment or who simply need a refresher in the key elements that make a Temporary Consultant successful. Throughout the day some of the areas that will covered will be lead generation, planning, how to increase margin, hours and the total number of working temporaries. It also focuses on retaining existing customers together with identifying new prospects and their conversion; this day should enhance your consultants productivity and financial results. An Introduction To Management Skills
This one day workshop is designed to provide senior consultants or new managers with an introduction into day to day managerial skills. This will enable them to plan and structure their day and utilise their time effectively. They will also gain an insight into delegation, coaching and leadership skills.


Tender and Proposals
Most clients agree that in order to sustain and grow their businesses they will need to enter into PSL agreements and respond to tenders and proposals. This very specific workshop will assist delegates in writing and responding to proposals in a systematic, well structured' clear and concise manner. This workshop will help your consultants and managers to identify tendering opportunities whilst fully appreciating and understanding the process.
